Everybody's Talking At Once

A long-form interview podcast where we talk about everything, by talking about video games. We gather insights and stories from video game developers, composers, writers, artists, directors, producers, and everyone else who makes games what they are.

It's about taking the things we love seriously without ever taking ourselves too seriously.

We started this podcast in 2013, and our esteemed host Drew Messinger-Michaels has had the pleasure to interview some of the true luminaries of independent games, including:

We've also gotten to focus a bit on composers who make music for games, including:

We've done all this independently, and outside of the conventions of traditional games journalism. We offer some of most exciting and wide-ranging interviews of this kind, and we plan to keep on doing so!

What we could use help doing is to keep expanding, keep meeting more guests, and whenever possible, do more of these interviews in person. We'd also like to be able to devote more time to our written pieces, which have fallen by the wayside in the last year or so.

So our plan is to keep the show and site free, but to offer anyone who especially likes what they hear/see the option to kick in a few bucks.

We believe in open culture, and everything we make is licensed under Creative Commons—so helping us out also means helping us provide primary sources to whoever might need or want them, at this most vibrant of moments for the medium of games.
